Tamara has been in the entertainment industry since she was 16 years old. Starting out in beauty pageants where she won over 1000 Titles and contests. She was featured in People magazine and The National Enquirer because of her extraordinary success. One of the keys to her success was learning and understanding how to apply the correct makeup – the kind that looks perfect on stage and will win First Place.
Tamara was also a professional dancer and gymnast. She worked and lived in Japan for 2 years and learning about stage makeup was an intricate part of her life. She eventually ended up doing the makeup for the entire cast of the show.
Tamara has appeared as a live Barbie Doll, modeling for Mattel Toys and has appeared in hundreds of magazines, including the pages of Playboy. During her years as a model, she had some of the best makeup artists doing her makeup. She has learned from the best in the industry.
Tamara then went on and worked as a professional model and actress in Hollywood. One of her most Famous and talked about appearances, has been on the big screen with Michael J. Fox in, Back to the Future part 2.
“I really paid attention to the details taken when they were doing my make-up and hair. I knew it was a great opportunity to be working with Universal Studios and the makeup had to be perfect and consistent. It took 3 days of filming to get that one shot. The makeup had to be photographed separately, to stay consistent and match every scene. I learned a lot about movie makeup working on that set.”
Tamara has worked with Steven Puglisi and the Hawaiian Tropic suntan lotion Corporation. She has produced and directed her own HT beauty pageants. She has held & taught makeup, hair and runway classes to hundreds of contestants. Tamara has over 20 years of experience in makeup. She is a graduate of Marinello’s School of Beauty majoring in Aesthetics.
